MCh in Plastic Surgery is a 3 year duration and is divided into 6 semesters. This course is concerned with the correction or restoration of form and function. The detailed syllabus is given below.

Semester I

History of Plastic Surgery and its broad scope at the present time
Anatomy and Functions of Skin
Split Skin Grafts and Full Thickness Skin Grafts, their take and subsequent Behaviour
Local Skin Flaps
Pedicled Skin Flaps and Tubes
Unstable Scar and Scar Contracrture
Care of Wounds, Dressing, Techniques and Splints
Congenital Deformities of Face and Jaw Bone

Semester II

Growth and Development Changes in Face, Anatomy of Facial Skeleton
Craniosynostosis, Hybertelorism, Craniofacial Microsomia
Leprosy Deformities of Face
Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunctions
Fractures - Early Management and Treatment of Sequelae
