Hi, please tell me which are the entrance exams I need to give through which I can secure admission in MPharm(Biotechnology) course in Calcutta Institute of Pharmaceutical Technology and Allied Health Sciences? I want to join this college for MPharm(Biotechnology) course. Kindly tell me about the cutoff score also for securing admission.

The entrance examinations available for admission to Master of Pharmacy(Biotechnology) in Calcutta Institute of Pharmaceutical Technology and Allied Health Sciences is Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test or Post Graduate Entrance Test conducted by Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), formerly West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT).

The minimum eligibility required to apply for Master of Pharmacy(Biotechnology) in Calcutta Institute of Pharmaceutical Technology and Allied Health Sciences is Bachelor of Pharmacy from a recognized university with minimum 55% marks.

The entrance examination to study MPharm in Biotechnology at Calcutta Institute of Pharmaceutical Technology and Allied Health Sciences is GPAT/PGET.

GPAT (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test) - This is a 3 hour online test and is conducted in a single session. There is no age restriction to appear for this examination. You can apply for this examination through website www.ntagpat.nic.in. The cutoff marks depend on the number of candidates who have appeared for the examination and the difficulty level of the examination.

PGET (Post Graduate Entrance Test) - This is for the duration of 60 minutes and will contain 30 questions. The questions will be a Multiple Choice Type and will be conducted offline. You can apply for this through website www.wbut.ac.in. The cutoff is the minimum score or rank which you need to score is 202 (Cutoff Rank).

The educational qualification required is a candidate must have passed BPharm in the relevant field with a minimum score of 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized university.
