Hello friends, I want to study an MTech(Energy System Engineering) course in NIT Jamshedpur. I want to know about the procedure of securing admission. Can any of you kindly let me know how I can get admission for this course in this college?

The admission in NIT in M.Tech course is conducted after qualifying in GATE.

GATE is Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. So, to pursue M.Tech ( Energy system engineering ), you will have to appear for GATE examination for admission in mechanical engineering stream.

So, you can start preparation for GATE examination and qualify in it for admission in M.Tech course.

Admission is through centralized counseling conducted by CCMT based on the score obtained in GATE.
Admission to a sponsored candidate is made based on marks obtained in oral/ written examination etc. conducted by the electrical engineering department of the institute.
