After msc maths, how to join M.tech? I am a very good scorer at my Msc mathematics and now want to go for MTech for further studies in this sector.

The applicant must have passed B.E/B.Tech or equivalent degree with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA.

Some of the very reputed Universities and institutes conduct an entrance examination for admission.

The candidate seeking admission in MTech needs a bachelor's degree from any recognised university. The candidate should have scored 55% marks in the undergraduate course if he or she belongs from general category and 50% marks if they are from reserved category.

The candidate should be less than 30 years to pursue this course.

Admission to this course is given either on the basis of entrance test or merit.

Yes it is possible to do Mtech after MSc for that you have to appear in GATE - mathematics which is jointly conducted by IISc and IITs. Qualifying the gate is requirement for seeking admission and/or financial assistance to masters program at a direct doctoral program. It is conducted for 23 subjects. You to appear for GATE mathematics. It's score is valid for 3 years from date of announcement of the result.

You can MTech after MSc in Mathematics by clearing the GATE examination. The qualification required to apply for MTech is a candidate must have passed a bachelor's degree in Engineering or a Master's degree in a similar field from a recognized university. Admission selection will be on the basis of rank obtained in the GATE entrance test.

Interested candidates can apply through the GATE website http://gate.iitb.ac.in/. First of all, register yourself on the website and thereafter log in with the details. Fill the application form with all the required details and upload the scanned copy of all the relevant documents. Pay the application fee online and submit the form.

Procedure to join MTech after MSc Is as follows.

Initially , You should prepare for GATE examination for a particular Branch/ Subject in which you want to take admission is MTech.

Now, You can go through GATE examination in relevant and secure more than 40 marks.

If you could secure more than 40 marks in GATE examination than you can definitely secure admission in good college .

Most of the university provides direct admission to MSc Candidates also.

After completion of MSc in mathematics you are eligible for the UGC net or PhD program.
But if you are interest is in Mtech then first you have to clear the GATE examination to get admission in Mtech program. The minimum eligibility required for MTech programme admission is BE/Btech in the relevant branch. The full name of gate is graduate aptitude test in engineering you can directly apply from its official website and after that you can enrolled in in Mtech program.
After passing UGC net in MSc mathematics you are eligible to teach in only science students But after completion of Mtech program you are also eligible to teach in engineering branches also. So according to me it is also good for you to enroll in M.Tech after your MSc in mathematics.
