MDS(Master of Dental Surgery) is a post graduate dental course. The total number of seats allotted for MDS to government colleges are 1352. India is lacking in number of doctors assigned to different areas in the country still very limited seats are assigned for Medical sectors. Because we all know that a skilled doctor can give life but an unskilled doctor can take away one’s life. So student’s admission for Medical courses are judged very strictly to avoid any unsafe consequences.

Eligibility criteria for MDS admission:
-Must have completed his or her B.D.S degree from a recognized university.
-Must have completed 1 year of Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship
-Or else must have completed House Surgeon ship in a recognised DentalCollege
-Or else must have 3 years of experience and have been registered by the State Dental Council.
