Is it necessary to pursue Diploma for further studying MSc(Food and Nutrition) course for BSc(Botany) student?

Hello, currently I am studying in 3rd year of BSc with Botany Honours. I want to do MSc in Food and Nutrition course. I have heard that for doing this MSc, I have to do Diploma course first in the same specialization. Is it true?
