Hello everyone, I would like to know that if I do MPhil(Physics) from Cochin University of Science and Technology then I have any chance to become a Professor or not? I want to become a Professor. Please let me know that it can be possible or not? Thank you!

The possibility to become a Lecturer after completion of MPhil (Physics) degree from Cochin University of Science and Technology is high. Candidates have to appear and qualify the National Eligibility Test (NET) to become a Lecturer in various colleges in India. Candidates have to apply for the vacancies in the government or private colleges and appear in the selection process to become a Lecturer after completion of MPhil (Physics) and NET examination. Those candidates who have obtained a PhD degree can apply directly for the Lecturer posts without appearing in the NET examination.
