Eligibility criteria required to pursue MA in Economics:

The basic eligibility criteria required to pursue MA in Economics course is given below,

Name of the Course - MA in Economics

@ Candidates must have completed Bachelor's in Economics or Bachelor of Commerce or BA in Economics course from a recognized university or institute.

@ Also there are some colleges offering this course for those who have pursued Economics as one of the subjects. In this case, I can say that you are certainly eligible.

@ Hence first decide yourself to choose the best college for pursuing this course. Then you can contact that particular college for getting more information.

If you have studied economics in your graduation then you can surely do masters in economics.
Those who have completed their bachelor's degree with atleast 55% marks from a recognised institution are eligible for the course.
The admission to the course is granted on the basis of merit .
Some colleges may also take entrance exam for admission.

Is it possible to study MA in Economics after BA general.

1. Candidates must have obtained at least aggregate marks of 50 percent or 60 percent as that is the minimum requirement of almost all the colleges.

2. It is mandatory for the student to have an undergraduate degree from a college or a university recognised by the UGC.

You are eligible to pursue M.A Economics from a recognised university but not in all the premier institutions.

Candidates with bachelor degree in economics or as a main paper are eligible to appear in entrance examination to get admission in the course.

So, you can visit the official website of the institution to get the detail information about the admission procedure.
