Hi friends, I want to apply for GATE. So, I would like to know about the process to apply for GATE of this year. Can anyone of you kindly let me know about the procedure for applying in GATE? Please let me know immediately.

You need to apply online through their official website and pay the application fee online or through bank challan. Just make sure you have all the documents and details ready before you are sitting for the online application process.

Just follow the instructions and fill all details correctly and upload the required documents in the correct format. Submit the application and pay the fee.

Gate exams are usually conducted in the month of February. Gate 2019 exam is already done. The results will be announced in the month of March. So you can't apply for gate 2019. However you can apply for gate 2020 through GOAPS. The notification of gate 2020 is not yet announced.

For the ease of aspirants, the exam authority has released a Guide for Successful Submission of GATE Application Form. The process of applying for GATE comprises following stages-

1)GATE Registration – Register as “New User” and proceed as mentioned in the guide. After successful registration, they will get access to GOAPS with the credentials they entered.

2)Fill GATE Application Form – Login using GOAPS Enrollment ID and GOAPS Password and start filling GATE application form.

3)Upload Documents – Upload Image, Signature, Eligibility Certificate, SC/ST Certificate and PwD Certificate as per the specifications and requirement.
Payment of Fees – Payment can be done through credit card, debit card or net banking.
