Yes, there are many Indian universities that offer MPhil programs through distance education. Some of the most popular universities include:

  • Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU)
  • University of Madras
  • Banaras Hindu University (BHU)
  • Jadavpur University
  • Delhi University
  • Aligarh Muslim University
These universities offer a variety of MPhil programs in physics, including programs in theoretical physics, experimental physics, and applied physics. The programs are designed to be flexible and can be completed on a part-time basis.
To be eligible for admission to an MPhil program through distance education, you must have a Master's degree in physics with a minimum of 55% marks. You may also be required to take the National Eligibility Test (NET) or the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE).
The application process for MPhil programs through distance education varies from university to university. However, most universities require you to submit an application form, a copy of your Master's degree certificate, and a copy of your NET or GATE scorecard.
If you are interested in pursuing an MPhil program through distance education, I recommend that you contact the universities that you are interested in and inquire about their specific programs and admission requirements.
