The difference between Chartered Accountant and Cost Accountant is a Cost Accountant deals only with the cost-related issue and also the pricing cost of products cost analysis. They mainly concentrate on reducing costs to get the best product.

Chartered Accountant does the part of cost accountant because they mainly concentrate on the audit report and financial accounting part. Chartered Accountant is equipped with thorough knowledge of auditing, taxation, and accounting.

Difference between Chartered accountant and Cost accountant:-

Chartered Accountancy is one of the most highly Wanted course in India. It is important for students to register with The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India to appear for the examination.

Eligibility:-
If you have passed 10+2 from any stream from a recognised school, you are eligible to apply for the common proficiency test.

Duration - 1year.





Cost Accountancy:-
A cost accounting degree equips you with the knowledge on how to manage finance competently and ensure managerial decisions are well within the available resources.

Eligibility:-
A student from any branch after having passed the 12th examination is eligible to appear for the foundation course.
There are two levels after the course:
The intermediate and the final examination.

Chartered accountancy equip students with thorough knowledge of auditing, taxation and accounting.

A cost accountant is expected to collect assimilate, collate and analyse financial information through all areas of organisation.

Work of cost accountant is related to calculating cost of any product cost accountant mainly concentrated by reducing cost to get the best product by reducing costs expenses cuts down and remaining resources can be used for other things in business.

Chartered accountant does the path of cost accountant because he merely concentrate on audit report and financial accounting report so both are having different perspective

Chartered Accountant is very differs from the cost Accountant.
Qualification required for Cost Accountant ,you must have 12th passed in any stream except Arts.

You will get a job after Cost Accountant is:-

Banking & Financial Sector, Business Firms and Government Work etc...

Whereas Chartered Accountant is a professional of Accounting, Auditing and Taxation.
