As a fresher, You may expect a salary package of Rs.2.5 LPA to Rs.4.5 LPA based on your interview performance and it will increase as per your experience and progression.

After BSc IT salary is offered for Freshers Rs 2.5 Lakh to Rs 4 Lakh per annum With Experience - Rs 4.5 Lakh to Rs 9.6 Lakh per annum.
To get a handsome salary, you must believe that you are capable of earning a handsome salary. Your degree (Bsc in Chemistry) is neither a reason for getting a handsome salary nor it is a reason for not getting it. |

You will earn something around three lakhs per annum. And you can expect 5 to 10 percent increasement in your salary per year. You can get an opportunity to work as a Application Programmer, Information Technologists, Database Administrator.

The candidate will earn Rs 2.5 Lakh to Rs 4 Lakh per annum in starting. The salary of the candidate will increase with experience - Rs 4.5 Lakh to Rs 9.6 Lakh per annum. The duration of BSc IT is three years in India.
You can pursue MSc or if you are interested in business, you can go for MBA as well.
