For business development manager most of the companies prefer a MBA graduate or even a BBA graduate in some cases. Selection is not merely on the basis of qualification. They will look at your experience and performance in the interview too.

Hence, if you have a management degree, then you will be considered for this job. Although, these days in private sector qualification doesn't matter much.
