I am about to complete my MCA.
So, please tell me the eligibility for joining
and also what are the posts for me in IBM?

IBM is a reputed multinational company.

Required percentage of marks throughout the studies for IBM is,

IBM= 70%

Candidates having more than two years gap throughout the studies are not eligible for IBM recruitment.

Pattern for IBM written test:-

1. Quantitative /analytical reasoning (20 questions)
2. Verbal ability (20 questions)
3. Technical section (10questions)

Selection process for IBM recruitment:-

1. Aptitude test
2. Technical interview
3. Personal interview

You can join as a assistant software developer in IBM because you are a fresher candidate.

IBM is the International Business Machines. It is top multinational company in the field of information technology.

Eligibility for IBM recruitment:

Candidates willing to work in IBM must have secured 70% marks in 10th, 12th and bachelor's degree.

You should not have gap of two or more years between your studies.

The selection process of IBM includes:

Aptitude test: Questions from quantitative aptitude, reasoning etc.

Technical Interview: Questions will be asked from your core stream subjects.

Human Resource interview.

If you clear these stages, you will be recruited as Software Developed or Assistant System Engineer Trainee in IBM.

For joining IBM you need to have minimum of 60% in your 10th, 12th and MCA degree. So, during the completion of your MCA you must try for all the ON as well as OFF campus recruitment drive. The various post in IBM are:

1. HR post.
2. Graduate Trainee Engineer.
3. Software Developer.
4. Network Engineer.

You can join in IBM in either ,

~ IBM Bpo
~ IBM Software services.

~ If you want to join in ibm bpo , then you shouldhave good communication skills .
you should upload your resume in the job portals and by seeing your resume the recruitment team will call you for the interview . Else , you can attend for the walkin in the ibm company .


~ If you want to join in Software side in ibm company , then you shouldbe perfect in any of the Software courses like c , c++ , java , oracle , oracle d2k , oracle applications , sap abap , sap bi , sap bo , sap sd , people soft , hadoop , etc..

If you get a job in ibm based on oracle platform , then your designation will be ERP Developer.
If you get a job in ibm based on sap platform , then your designation will be like sap bo consultant , sap abap consultant , based on your course

You join as the assistant software developer in IBM of your eligibility. And the most important eligibility criteria for the IBM is the candidate should complete their graduation with the minimum mark of 70%. And also the candidate who has the 2 or more year gap after their studies are not eligible for joining in the IBM.
IBM conducts entrance exam for the selection of candidates based on the entrance exam performance candidate has been chosen.
