What qualification is needed to be a News Reporter in India?


Respected Sir/Madam,

I am 25 years old and i am doing b.sc. in animation and multimedia. This is my last year. I want to become a news reporter so that i can help tribal peoples and those who cant help themselves. Please guide me about the qualification required for becoming one?

Generally, the minimum educational qualification required for a TV or News Channels Reporter is "Graduate Degree" or Bachelor Degree PASS from a recognized university. But candidates with the degree in below streams are preferable.
>> In Communications
>> In Journalism
As you have completed B.Sc in Animation and Multimedia course, I suggest you to undergo courses which are related to Journalism or Communications so as to get some Idea of what does a New Reporter do. I suggest you attend Seminars, Workshops and if possible undergo for Internships on this area.

I am studying journalism and Mass communication in govt college can I qualify for TV channel
