Hi, I don't know how to prepare myself to get placed in a core company. What do the core companies expect from us? How should I need to prepare for it? Can you please guide me with the information soon as possible. Awaiting for the response.

In order to get a job in core company you should have completed 10th, 12th and bachelor's degree with minimum 60% marks. You should have a personal account number and maximum 2 years of education gap is acceptable. You should not have any pending backlog. You must have good communication skills with proper knowledge regarding your course. You should be aware about the responsibilities of your duties. You have to appear for an entrance examination conducted by the company itself and the selection will be based on the marks scored and the performance in personal interview.

You haven't mentioned your field here. But, let me give you basic guideline which will apply to all courses.

Apart from technical knowledge, following soft skills are required,

-Good networking skill
-good communication skill
-team spirit
-Hunger to learn
-good negotiation skill
-good logical thinking
-good verbal communication
-good logical reasoning

These skills will help you crack interviews. On technical side, you should have,
-good domain knowledge
-good hands-on exposure
-knowledge of latest trend in industry
-Curious to know better things

For campus placement, eligibility criteria,
-60% or more throughout 10th,12th ,engineering
-Aptitude test
-essay writing
-technical round
-HR round.

Rounds varies from companies to company.
