Civil Services are regarded as one of the most prestigious services of the country. These services are related to the administration of our country. The internal policies, foreign policies etc are all managed by the officers of the civil services. To reach these corridors of power one has to clear the civil services examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. The exam is held in two phases. The screening phase is the preliminary examination, followed by the main examination. Law is one of the subjects in the civil services. In the prelims there is a single paper of the subject. This contains multiple choice type questions. In the main examination there are two papers on the subject. Both are conventional exams with questions requiring detailed answers.
