All the questions in the paper are compulsory. However, there are internal choices given in the questions of Section D. You need to prepare well according to the current syllabus so as to secure a good score. The marks derived in these exams will hold importance if you wish to pursue higher studies. The papers are usually assessed by trained teachers and there is no computerized assessment as yet. In case you are not happy with your result you can apply for a re-evaluation of the papers. This might take another six months to solve.
