The 1st sem Physics paper deals with the application of basic fundamentals learned before and hence has a major role in the engineering study. The paper is of 60 marks and is divided into 3 sub-sections. The first section is compulsory and contains 10 questions of 2 marks each whereas the second and 3rd section have internal options. A total of five questions of 8 marks each have to be answered from these two sections of 4 questions each. However, at least two questions from each of the two sections have to be answered.
