The University of Gujarat offers the course of MJS or Master in Journalism Science. There are eight papers in the course and each of the paper is divided into two parts, namely the theory part and the practical part. The theory part has a maximum of seventy marks and has three hours duration. The practical part has a maximum of thirty marks. Each of the theory paper has a maximum of nine individual main questions, out of which the eight questions remain in pairs. Candidates have to attempt at least one from each of the pair. The ninth question is a compulsory question. Each question carries a maximum of fourteen marks.
