The affiliated schools of Haryana Board of Secondary Education conduct board exams like middle, secondary and higher secondary twice a year. In each semester students have to take five regular subject and one subject in additional from the list of subject given, in secondary education. The entire syllabus should be completed by a candidate as questions may come from any part of the syllabus. In the first semester essay type, short answer type, very short answer type and objective type question carries 18, 31, 21 and 10 marks respectively and for second semester that carries 22, 30, 12 and 16 marks respectively.
