The Haryana Board of Secondary education is the first Board of School Education which conducts final examination twice a year. The board started this semester system from the year of 2006. It is the first board to commence relative grading, CCE (continuous &comprehensive evaluation) to all board classes i.e. middle, matric and senior secondary. Students of 10th class of HBSE should study accordingly to their syllabus. Marks is distributed to all the content of the syllabus e.g. trigonometry carries 16 marks, surface area and volume carries 14 marks etc in the second semester. 10 % of the total marks is categorized as difficult, 50% is average 40% is easy.
