The IETE is one of the leading institutes for engineering in the country so it is needless to say that they expect high standards. The result is that the large number of students taking the exam must be tested on several grounds to test their innovative skills as well as their knowledge of the subject. The paper thus deals with the different laws governing the different ways of transmission of the radiation and the electromagnetic ways. It also deals with the generation of the Electromagnetic and Radiation waves. The candidates are expected to know about the different instruments involved in the process at the same time.
