IETE AMIETE-ET (Old Scheme) Microwave Theory & Techniques Exam - Download Previous Year's Question Papers
The IETE AMIETE-ET (Old Scheme) Microwave Theory & Techniques Papers basically focus on the various theories and concepts that deal with the generation of the microwaves, their transmission from one place to distant location and the reception of the microwaves. They also consist of a lot of questions on the working of the various electronic devices that are employed in the generation, transmission and propagation of the microwaves. As a student of the Microwave theory and techniques paper the main problems encountered are the ways in minimising the attenuation of the microwaves and their propagation over the long ranges. However there also remains the challenge of inventing better equipments for the same. The main focus of the paper is on directional couplers, phase shifting property, maximum usable frequency, cut-off frequency, RADAR, Reflex Klystron, VSWR Measurement, TEM modes, MASERS, TRAPATT etc. If you go through the previous year’s question papers you will get many questions on the above mentioned topics. This 100 marks paper tries to cover the entire syllabus of the Microwave Theory & Techniques. Below are attached some of the previous year’s question paper for your help.
