The paper consists of five questions and all of them have to be answered. The entire questions are answered by drawing and this requires a lot of practice. It is best to refer to previous year question papers when preparing for the exam. The paper is of four hour duration. When drawing the diagram, you have to give importance to the diagrams because marks are allotted for the cleanliness with which the diagrams are presented. Familiarizing various machines in the lab will help a lot since the questions will be related to those machines.
