Patent Agents Examination- Drafting and Interpretation of Patent specification and other Documents (Paper-II) Papers are based on how the student can draw on the theory taught to him on case studies put forth in the question paper. This involves understanding of the concepts of the subject. For example, the student may be asked, after being given relevant data, to use the Patent Act of 1970 in securing a client a patent in India in the shortest possible time, how patent protection can be obtained in India, the documents and methodology of filing for a patent, the various kinds of patents that can be filed and the distinctions in the documentation between these different kinds and so on. Students are also expected to draft a patent application from the comprehensive data that they are given in the second half of the paper.
