The French Paper I is a 100 mark paper. The time limit for the paper is two and half hours. All the questions carry equal marks. There is no negative marking on the paper. The questions in the paper involve reading comprehension, essay and letter writing, and translation related ones. All the questions are compulsory and have to be answered on a separate answer booklet. There is provision for rough work as well. You need to have a good command over the language to be able to answer it to the optimum. Make sure to solve model question papers to get a good idea of the paper.
