Hyderabad University holds an entrance exam for the course of Integrated M.Sc (Mathematical Sciences) on the national level. The question paper offers a maximum of one hundred marks with duration of two hours. There are one hundred questions based on multiple types, each having a maximum of four options, out of which candidates have to choose one. Each question, if answered correctly earns one mark, and if answered incorrectly fetches a negative of one-third mark. The question paper is divided into four parts, with each part containing twenty five questions from Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and Biology respectively.
