WBUT B.Tech in Instrumentation 6th Sem Optoelectronics and Optical instrumentation Paper is of 70 marks. The remaining 30 marks are given by the internals on various parameters. The question paper of this subject has all together 23 questions. Out of these 23, 13 are MCQs of 1 mark each. Candidates require answering any 10. Out of the remaining 10 questions, 5 questions are short answer type questions of 5 marks each. Answering 3 out of these 5 questions is sufficient. The remaining 5 questions are long descriptive questions of 15 marks each. Candidates have to answer any 3. All together 19 question are to be answered and that too in the matter of 3 hours.
