West Bengal University of Technology conducts an introduction to programming examination in the first semester for BCA or bachelor of computer applications students. This will be the base for the students as they have to deal with various programming in due course of their curriculum and in order to do well in programming languages later in the course they have to understand the basics concepts very nicely. The pattern is such that there are 70 marks for a 3 hour paper with objective and subjective questions. The objective questions carry 10 marks and one answers any ten in all. The subjective ones have 2 parts section B and C. One has to answer 3 from each section and these carry 5 marks per question and 15 marks per question respectively. One has to know about basics of operators and keywords and identifiers too. One must know basic programming algorithms as well as codes to do well. It’s not tough if you know where to apply your knowledge in the paper. For your help we have uploaded previous year’s question papers which you can download from below.
