* obviously it is 3 years for everyone .
As it is a software field it requires minimum skills and fluency over English
* So it is better to participate in placements after the completion of degree with aggregate percentage . .

There is no such gap specified.

However, the IT companies do not consider you if you have delayed placing into any job or higher studies by 2-3 years. They think that you are useless and could not take up a good job with in these years.

So, an informal gap of 2-3 years is sufficient if you really want to take up an IT job.

Being a software engineer i can say that the maximum gap allowed after B.Tech degree for IT jobs is only one year.
After one year chances of getting into software industry will decrease gradually because most of the companies will prefer only the recent pass out candidates.
So, if a candidate want's to get a software job then he must get into a company with in one year after completion of his engineering.

There are no certain criteria for gap after completing B.Tech to get job in IT sectors.
Actually , Many MNC Companies will not Recruit the candidates who have more than 2 years of Gap in their studies.
There are only some I.T Companies who does not consider about gaping. If you have some gap than you will have to mention the reason of the gap. If you have strong convincing power, Good knowledge and communication skill then you can get a job.

No.
Because,
Actually Diploma course is not equivalent to any Graduation. As Graduation course is higher than Diploma course. As graduation is the next level of diploma and it can student can opt it after diploma.

Of course yes.

You will get two degrees at the end of your third year one will be of Bsc and another of BHM(bachelor in hotel management).
Or,
(Bsc degree is given by the college while the BHM degree is given by ignou).

You can apply for job , but breaks do matter.
The first question of interviewer would be , what you were doing during the break.
If you were doing something productive or has some problem then its ok.
If you meet the requirements of the job , you will definitely be hired, no matter wat the gap was.

There is no such age limit.
Hard work and dedication to work matters a lot in any company.
How much you are paying to the company in form of your work matters much.
