The eligibility criteria for taking admission in Kendriya Vidyalaya differ from place to place.
While there is cut-throat competition in the metropolitan cities to get into Kendriya Vidyalaya, small towns such as Gandhidham (in Gujarat) and Nashik (in Maharashtra) do not make much of a fuss in taking admissions.
Although, one criterion that is common to all KVs for checking eligibility of a candidate is age limit. While it is different for different branches, it usually is around 5 ½ years for Class 1 admission and other classes have their age limits accordingly.

I want to take admission in kvs school but i don't know the criteria of admission so please tell me. And I also need syllabus of entrance test for class 11.
