Is it advisable to appear NIOS 10th Board exam for a weak student?
Hello friends, my son is studying in 8th standard from Assam Board. He is very weak in studies so I think he should appear the Board exam of 10th standard from NIOS Board. I don't know if it is correct or not. Please advise me.

Personally I won't advice to complete 10th from NIOS board.
If he is weak at studies then he needs a proper guidance and coaching. You should involve him in some coaching classes or tuition classes particularly for the subjects he is weak at so that he can improve his basics and then definitely he will improve himself. |

NIOS is the last option for those who want to appear for board exams. Those who are not able to study regular schooling due to some reasons, go for NIOS which is an open schooling option. Just make sure you are ready to self study if you are looking for open schooling.
If you are eligible for regular schooling then you should go for it because the classroom environment is the best and it will surely help you score better marks. |
