My daughter passed class 3rd in march 2021. Is she qualified for class 4th at this age and forward qualified for class 10th with this her birthday is on 1
7th June plz answer

Age criteria for admission in 4th standard?

1. You must be 8 years and 6 months to get admission in the 4th standard.

2. You must have studied on the same board till the 3rd class to get admission.

3. Admission is direct as well as on the admission test based depending upon the school.

CBSE has not defined any age limit criteria for class 4th. CBSE has defined the lower age limit criteria for class 10th only. There is no any upper age limit criteria for class 10th. A student must have minimum age of 14 years in class 10th.
A candidate must have minimum 8 years of age in class 4th.

The child must be 8+ as on 31st March 2022. If the child is born between 1/4/2013 to 31/3/2014 then he / she will be eligible for 4th standard. .

The age limit required to get admission in 4th standard in CBSE Board school is 8 years 6 months. As you have mentioned that age criteria required varies from school to school. Since, your daughter is 8 years old, as per CBSE age criteria, she is not eligible to get admission in 4th standard in CBSE Board school.
