My daughter born on 31st January 2019. by next year june she will complete 3 years and 5 months old. I want to get her admitted in LKG 2021 or 2022 academic year. So can you please tell me about the age criteria for admission in CBSE schools under LKG and Nursery?

Age criteria for admission in LKG and Nursery under CBSE Schools:-

The minimum age required in order to get a candidate admitted in Nursery and LKG is 3 years and 6 months.
However, as you have maintained above, your daughter is very much eligible for admission in Nursery for LKG.

Age criteria for admission in LKG and Nursery under CBSE Schools:-

You should take the admission for nursery in 3 years and 4 years for LKG in CBSE schools in all over India.

So, according to age you should take the admission.

°°° According to RTE rules, age limit for admission in nursery level should be between two years and six months and three years six months and for admission to junior KG class, the age limit should be between 3.6 years to 4.6 years
But after revised RTE guidelines, child must have completed 3 years and 10 months for admission in LKG class and five years and 10 months for class 1 as on 1st June of the year of admission.

The age criteria for admission in LKG and Nursery under CBSE schools are given below.

--> Nursery - If the child is 2 - 3 years as of 31st March 2021
--> LKG - If the child is 3 - 4 years as of 31st March 2021
--> UKG - If the child is 4 - 5 years as of 31st March 2021
--> Class I - If the child is 5 - 6 years as of 31st March 2021
--> Class II - If the child is 6 - 7 years as of 31st March 2021
--> Class III - If the child is 7 - 8 years as of 31st March 2021
--> Class IV - If the child is 8 - 9 years as of 31st March 2021
--> Class V - If the child is 9 - 10 years as of 31st March 2021

The age of the student should be between 3 years to 4 years to get admission in LKG and Nursery under CBSE Schools.

CBSE has not fixed any minimum or even the maximum age limit to get admission in Nursery ot LKG or in any std in a CBSE affiliated school.

It is the state government or UT where the school is situated to determine the same. So, you can visit the school to get the detail information for the same.
