Am I eligible to get domicile if born and studied till 12th at Cuttack and Medical from Bengaluru?
Dear Sir, I am from Cuttack and I have studied till my 12th in this city. Now, I am doing Medical from Bengaluru. I am about to complete my course and I want to stay here and work. I want to know about the eligibility for me to get the domicile of Bengaluru. Please tell me regarding this.

Domicile means permanent residence hence, you can apply for domicile certificate of that state to which you belong and have permanent residence.

You need to have a permanent address proof to get domicile certificate. If you don't reside in that state then you won't be eligible to get such certificate.
You must be a voter of that region and must have any ID proof which mentions your address. Also, at one time you can be a domicile of one state. |
