Am I eligible to secure BTech admission in NIT Rourkela with 170 marks in JEE Main and expecting 70% in 12th being a General student?
Sir, I have scored 170 marks in my JEE Main and expecting 70% in my Board exam of 12th standard. I am a student of Odisha Board and I want to study BTech in NIT Rourkela. So, with such marks, I am eligible to join as I belong to a General category student?

Without 170 marks in Joint Entrance Examination Main and belonging to general category, chances are minimal for admission in any National Institute of Technology. You can wait for counselling process.
Hope is the best option left here. General candidates with 240 marks or above have good chances. |
