It is best to choose CBSE board for pursuing 11th and 12th standard in Science stream. When you are appearing for competitive examinations like JEE and other National level entrance examinations, we can observe that CBSE syllabus will be taken into consideration while setting the examination question paper. And the candidate who has completed 12th standard from CBSE board can pursue their higher studies in any state of India. So, I suggest you to opt CBSE board for pursuing your 11th and 12th standard.

The syllabus for maharashtra and CBSE is more or less at Par.There are only limited CBSE schools for 11th and 12th. Those aspiring for engineering prefer studying in CBSE as JEE is based on CBSE syllabus. However CBSE course is slightly on tougher side hence should be taken up only if student is ready for hard work. There are a number of good classes to supplement school which many students join.

This is one of the common confusions in the minds of the students and their parents after 10th. However, there is nothing to worry as long as we are here to help you. Among CBSE and Maharashtra State Board, CBSE would be the better option. This is because:-

- There is no need to take second language in CBSE, so one can concentrate at the core subjects properly.
- English is easy, hence again core subjects can be given more attention.
- Most of the entrance exams are based on syllabus which is at par with the CBSE.

We cannot compare as both are good, but CBSE has an edge over state boards & CBSE is on the best boards in India to study. To crack NEET you need to study hard does not matter in which board you are but it is advisable to study NCERT books to prepare for the same. Also join coaching classes to prepare if possible.

It is better to continue with CBSE board as you want to select science in your 11 and 12 standard
The syllabus of CBSE and the the entrance exam is the same , so it will be easy to prepare for the exam and the concepts will also be clear
So i would advise you to continue with CBSE board ,but Maharashtra board is a bit easy to score as the syllabus is a bit less
But to get admission in a good government medical college you will have to follow the CBSE syllabus and score a good merit in the entrance exam
