Dear Sir, I am doing my 12th with an NIOS Board. My aim is join Defence Services. So, I am planning for CDS. I would like to know that does NIOS have any value after 12th for CDS? Please help me to know about this asap.

NIOS stands for National Institute of Open Schooling.
This is a Central Government recognised board and approved by Ministry of human resource and development for conducting board examination at 10th and 12th standard.

NIOS is a valid and equivalent to CBSE, ICSE and other state boards.
Hence, you need not to worry.

Yes, NIOS has value for a CDS aspirant. As the NIOS Board is constituted by the Ministry of the HRD, the State. Of India. This is the third highest board after CBSE & ICSE and has a weighting equal to that of CBSE & ICSE.

----Yes,NIOS board is a recognized board and fully accepted in the Defense service too.

--You are fully eligible to join the Defense service after completion of 12th standard with minimum of 50-60%Mark's in NIOS boards

--Must complete the all requirement need in the process to join the Defense service.
