Economics or Maths, which is better to study in 9th ICSE for Chartered Accountant aspirant?

Hello everyone, my daughter is studying in 8th standard from ICSE Board. She is average in Mathematics. Now, for 9th standard, which subject should she go for? I am thinking to opt Economics for me. She wants to become a Chartered Accountant. So, please suggest me!

Economics is a compulsory subject if you want to pursue Chartered Accountancy whereas some people also take mathematics as an optional subject.
Personally I would like to tell you that take mathematics as an optional subject because it would be beneficial for you.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
