Hello everyone, I want to my daughter to study in Rashtriya Military College for 8th standard. For this I want to apply in RIMC Entrance Exam. Can I know about the eligibility criteria of RIMC Entrance Exam of 2019? Kindly tell me immediately.

Candidates wanting to appear for RIMC examination should have first of all attained te minimum age of 11.5 years and not above 13 as on 01st Jan of that year.

The eligibility criteria to apply for Rashtriya Indian Military College(RIMC) Entrance Exam 2019 is:-

==> Admission to 8th class, the student must pursue 7th class from some private or government certified school.

==> Minimum age should be 11.6 years and maximum age can be 13 years.

As per the information available, Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC), Dehradun only have vacancies for boys. They do not take admissions of girls.


The minimum eligibility criteria required for boys is that they must be more than 11 1/2 years age but should not have attained the age of 13 years.

- You can apply for admission 6th and 8th class.

- Age should be between 11.6 to 13 years.

- Admission will be on merit which will be decided by the written exam and interview.

The Eligibility to apply for RIMC Entrance Exam 2019 is given below.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

** The candidate should be studying in 7th or passed 7th class from a recognized board.

** The age of the candidate should be a minimum of 11 and a half years.

** The upper age of the candidate should not be greater than 13 years.

The examination is conducted twice for admission in RIMC in std 8th.

Candidates passed or pursuing in std 7th are eligible to apply for the examination. The minimum age limit is 11.5 years and maximum is 13 years as on January or July for which examination you are appearing.

The examination is conducted in written and candidates after qualifying in it will become eligible for Viva and for final selection.

Your daughter is not eligible to appear for the entrance examination to get admission in the RIMC.

As, per rules girls are not eligible to get admission RIMC. So, she is not eligible for the admission.

Girls candidates are not eligible to get admission in RMC.

It is only for boys. The admission is conducted only in std 8th after qualifying in entrance test.

So, your daughter is not eligible for the admission.

Class 6th: To seek admission to class 6th, there is hardly any need for prior mandatory education. The boys who are born between 2nd of July 2008 and 1st of July 2009 can apply.

Class 8th: To seek admission to class 8th, students must pursue 7th class from some private or government certified school. The boys born between 2nd July of 2005 and 1st of July 2006 can apply anytime.

Minimum age should be 11.6 years and Maximum age can be 13 years.
