NCERT stands for National Council of Educational Research and Training. NCERT is set up by Indian Government to advice and assist the state and central government on academics basis.
Main priorities of NCERT are Implementation of National Curriculum Framework, Universalisation of Elementary Education (UEE), Competitive Value education, Education of girl child, Improvement in teacher education etc.
