Respected Sir/Madam, I am a student of 9th standard, studying from PSEB Board school. I want to know about the syllabus of the Geography for Board exam of 10th standard of PSEB Board. So, please let me know about this syllabus immediately.

The syllabus of Geography for the 10th standard PSEB Board exam is as follows:

Unit 1: Resources and Development
1. Resources: Types – Natural and Human
2. Land Resources: Land Utilization, Land-use pattern, Land degradation and conservation measures.
3. Water Resources: Sources of water, distribution, and utilization of water, conservation and management of water resources.
4. Mineral and Energy Resources: Types, distribution and utilization, conservation, and management.
5. Agriculture: Types of farming, food crops, cash crops, cropping pattern, and agricultural practices.

Unit 2: Forest and Wildlife Resources
1. Forest Resources: Types, distribution, and utilization, conservation, and management.
2. Wildlife Resources: Types, distribution, and conservation, biosphere reserves, national parks, and sanctuaries.

Unit 3: Agriculture
1. Types of farming, major crops, cropping pattern, and agricultural practices.
2. Agricultural development: Green Revolution and its impact, organic farming, and sustainable agriculture.

Unit 4: Manufacturing Industries
1. Types of industries: agro-based, mineral-based, and manufacturing industries.
2. Industrial location: factors affecting the location of industries, industrial clusters.
3. Industrial pollution: types, effects, and control measures.

Unit 5: Transport, Communication, and Trade
1. Transport: Types of transport, major transport routes, and networks.
2. Communication: Types of communication, communication networks.
3. International trade: Types of trade, major trading partners, and trade routes.

Unit 6: Human Resource
1. Population: Distribution, growth, and density of population, age-sex ratio, literacy rate, and urbanization.
2. Migration: Types, causes, and consequences.
3. Human development: Indicators, health, and education.

Unit 7: India: Political and Physical Features
1. India: Location, size, and political divisions.
2. Physical features: Mountains, plateaus, plains, and rivers.
3. Climate, natural vegetation, and wildlife.

Unit 8: Disaster Management
1. Types of disasters: Natural and human-made disasters.
2. Disaster management: Preparedness, mitigation, and rehabilitation.

Note: The above-mentioned syllabus is based on the latest circular of PSEB Board. The Board may make some changes in the syllabus, if required.
