My son is 2.5 years old. I want to get his admission done in any school under ICSE board. Can you please tell me what is the minimum age limit set for admission in Class Ist?

Age Criteria required for ICSE board for 1st Class Admission:

Generally there is minimum age criteria for getting admission into first class in ICSE board and no such maximum age limits. But as far as my knowledge is concerned, it it better to be below 6 years for getting admission in first class in ICSE board school. The minimum age required to be eligible for getting admission into first class in ICSE based School is "5 years" and the maximum age must not exceed 6 years.

As your son's age is still 2.5 years, I Suggest you to join your kid in Nursery or Pre KG with the present age or wait for 1 more year to join your kid in the school.

2.5 year old child is eligible for play school, not is class 1 for admission in class 1 under ICSE board. Minimum 6 year is age limit for the admission in class 1.

Mainly ICSE board doesn't defined any age limit criteria for taking admission in class 1st. Generally the age limit criteria is defined for class 10th. A candidate should be 14 years of age in class 10th.

For taking admission in class 1st a candidate should be 5 or 6 years of age. So that he will be able to follow the age limit criteria for class 10th.

My daughter will complete 3 year on 20th June 2018, is she eligible for admission in nursery class in this session or next session

Dear Sir, Good Morning, My daughter DOB is 16/11/2012 and currently he is in STD 1, now i am going to admit her in STD 2 but ICSE School not allow to admit. Request you to Please suggest further.
