I am interested to appear in Geo Genius Geography Olympiad. I am studying in 8th standard. However, I don’t know about the pattern of Geo Genius Geography Olympiad. I would like to know about the pattern of this Olympiad.

Pattern of Geo Genius Geography Olympiad:

There will be multiple choice type questions in the level 1 competition which will be conducted at school level.

The level 1 exam will be of online or pen and paper based.

There will be 40 questions in the sub junior category

And 50 questions for junior and senior category candidates.

Total 1 hour will be given to all the students to complete the exam.

There will be no negative marking in any category.

Each correct answer carries 1 mark.

Level 1 exam will be held in every candidate's School.

Top 50 students in each category will be invited to Mumbai for level 2 exam National level.

Geo Genius Exam Pattern 2019-

Students will be able to participate in the competition under the following three categories according to their current:

- sub junior category from class 2nd to 4th.

-Junior category from class 5th to 7th.

-Senior category from class 8th to 10th.


There will be multiple choice questions in level 1 exam and level 1 exam will be pen and paper based.

There will be 40 questions in the sub junior category and 50 questions for junior and senior category candidates.

There will be no negative marking in any category.

Examination Pattern

--> There will be Multiple Choice type Questions in the level 1 competition which will be conducted at school level.

--> Time duration would be 1 hour for all the students to complete the examination.

--> For every correct answers there will be 1 marks.

--> There will be no negative marking in any category.

--> Level 1 examination will be held in your respective school.

--> Top 50 students in each category will be invited to Mumbai for level 2 National Examination Level.

Political Geography
Historical Geography
Physical Geography
Cultural Geography
Economic Geography

World

Political Geography: Important countries capitals.
Physical Geography: Major Mountain Rivers.
Cultural Geography: People, Languages, Holidays, Festivals, Dance and Sports.

Current Events

You can take the preparatory textbook of Rs.110.

Pattern of Geo Genius Geography Olympiad for 8th student;

The question paper will be comprises of Multiple Choice Type.

There will be 50 questions in the paper.

Duration of exam will be 1 hour.

One mark will be awarded for each correct answer.

There will be no negative marking for wrong answers.

I am student of class vi. How should I prepare for this exam? There is no specific study material for it. Please help.
