Hi everyone, my son has passed 10th from CBSE Board and joined PCM Group in Himachal Pradesh State Board for Intermediate. Can he study private study of CBSE Science Intermediate at a same time?

According to Indian Supreme Court there is no specific regulations which prohibit any person from giving two examinations at the same time from 2 different boards, but it is advisable not to do so as it falls under violation act.

If you still want to qualify from two different boards, then try to register in both the boards with a minimum 1 year of the gap.

As per Indian law if a student caught appearing for 2 exams the same year, he/she can be suspended from appearing in any exam for next 3 years and the rules are very strict.

Your son cannot give the examination for two boards at a time neither regular not private.

If he fails in 12th class than he can appear as a private student through CBSE board. But as of now, this is not possible.
