Sir i am student of class 10 th in DAV school in punjab .because of some reason i would like to shift my school to gujrat DAV school . Is it possible to shift

Yes, you can change the school within the same board, but it is not an easy task.

You will have to give details about the reason for change in the board and it is upto the school administration to give you permission for this.

No, it is not possible to change school while in 10th class. Because of the board advises all students that in case they so desire, they must change their schools in classes 9 and 11 instead of class 10 and 12.

First of all you have to complete your 10th with good Marks from your school than you can switch your school to DAV School Gujarat.

You can't switch/shift your school without completing your current academic.

After completing 10th you are totally eligible to get admission in any school.

No, this is not possible if you are studying from state board as this is against the rule as you will have to appear from the same board in which you have studied till standard 9
If the school is CBSE board than you may be able to change, you will require the permission letter from both the school to withdraw and allow the admission, you will also have to take transfer certificate and in some cases you will also have to inform your board
But if possible continue with the school in which you have completed half of your studies as sometimes the change of environment may disturb you

CBSE has introduced strict guidelines for a change of school in class 10th and 12th. In the circular the board has listed the documents the parents and schools would have to provide for direct admissions in these classes such as transfer orders of the parents, new address proof, documents supporting admission on medical grounds are required at the time of admission. The students who are planning to shift for 'better education' in this case not only parents are required to submit the documents, the schools (both admitting and leaving school) would also be required to attach the records of CBSE Board results of the previous 5 years.
