Science student can study Economics honours?
Hello,
I have passed Higher Secondary Education. I am a Science student without Economics. But I want to study B.Sc in Economics. Can I get Economics honours? |

Yes you can study B.Sc with economics as you are interested to study economics, so for B.Sc in economics the eligibility criteria are as follows:
You should have more than 50% in your class 12th board exam. You should have more than 50 marks in mathematics. These are some criteria that you have to fulfil and other criteria depends on the college that you take admission in. |

Yes, you can join in B.Sc(Economics) course, even if you have not studied Economics subject in your 12th standard. As per eligibility of most of the universities, Candidates who have completed their 12th standard in any stream, with 50% of marks are eligible to get admission in B.Sc(Economics) course. So, you can definitely get admission in B.Sc(Economics) course. And the admission process varies from one university to another university, as some universities are conducting admission tests, while some universities are offering admissions on the basis of merit. So, you should try to know admission of university/institution in which you wish to join.

* Yes, a science student can pursue Economics course and can opt for B.Sc Economics (Honors). * Any candidate who completed their class under 10+2 pattern or its equivalent examination from any recognized school/ board of education with at least 50% marks aggregate in science stream are eligible for admission to B.Sc Economics course. * Only Science students are eligible to take for B.Sc economics course. |

Yeah sure you can do Economics Honours after having completed your +2 with science.
Eligibility criteria; > Candidate must have scored a minimum of 50% in +2 level examination from a recognised board > Candidate must have scored a minimum of 50% in Mathematics > English should e one of the main subject in +2 level Apart from this many Institutes conduct their own entrance examination, in that case you will have to appear and clear those examination and follow the admission procedure to get admission in the course. |

Yes you can study Economics Honors as being the student of science from B.Sci.
A student who completed their class 12th from any recognized board and get 50% marks in science stream can easily take the admission in B.Sci Economics (Honors). #English and maths should be good. In English a candidate should secured good marks and in Maths minimum marks should be 50%. The admission procedure and the eligibility of the admission may vary from university to university. Every university has different pattern or procedure of admission. |

Yes you can
There is no relation between passing intermediate with science but without Economics and taking admission in Economics honours. So you don't have to worry you can get admission in any college offering Economics honours. However minimum marks requirement for non commerce background students are higher than for commerce background candidates.
