My son and daughter was born on 26 8 2013 they were born premature baby so we're putting late for LKG one year due to Physical health condition so in 2018 we can put for LKG

Is there any compulsory age limit for admission in LKG?

A child going to take admission for LKG class must have completed 3 years 10 months as on or before June 1 of the year.

In your case your daughter/son will be completing 3 and 1/2 years in April month.

In the CBSE schools the general rule followed for admission in LKG is that the child should have attained the age of 3-1/2 years as on 1st June of the respective year.

3 years 6 months is compulsory for admission in LKG.

The correct age of the student should be between 3 years 6 months to 4 years 10 months to get admission to LKG school.

Yes, the child has to complete 3 years in April 2021 for LKG admission in 2021-2022 academic year. In general, children between the ages of 3.6 and 4.6 are eligible for LKG.

According to the rules of CBSE there is no such age criteria maintained there for a student in LKG.
But there is minimum age of 5 years for a student in 1st standard.

So if you can calculate the age of your child and if he/she falls order than five years when will be in first standard then you can get him/ her admitted in LKG in any CBSE school.

As per my knowledge according to the rule of government of India the minimum age for admission to LKG is 3 years.
But as per the director from the Federal Government of UAE the minimum age for admission in LKG will be 4 years.

So, if you meet the above age criteria then it will not create any problem in future.

According to the new rule relaxation of 30 days is provided to the child in the lower age as well as upper age limit. The admission process also varies from school to school which you can check before applying. The age limit for admission in LKG is a child age should be 3 plus as of 31st March 2022. The kids who were born between 1st April 2018 to 31st March 2019 are eligible to take admission in LKG (Lower Kindergarten).

The proper age to admit your child in LKG is 5 yrs .

As in this time period they get to know peoples around them.

They are left freely to play , they develop naturally and understand the feeling of love from their family.

There is no such eligibility criteria for class LKG in any board or school.

However, the student must be at least 5 years of age at the time of admission in the 1st standard. The age is calculated from that criteria only.

If your son falls in that criteria, you can get him admitted.
