My daughter's DOB is 06 December 2014. One of the ICSE schools has mentioned the age criteria for admission in Class I as: Age should be 5 but not more than 6 years 2 months as on 31st March 2021. (Child born between 1st February 2015 and 31st March 2016 is eligible to apply for admission to Class-I.).

However, if I would have applied last year, she would be still in U.K.G.

What is the latest ICSE age criteria, as in Dec 2022, for admission in 1st Class? Nothing is mentioned on the official ICSE website - cisce.org

The minimum age for getting admission in ICSE school in LKG 4 and above years and for UKG the minimum wages 5 and above years.

The minimum age limit required to get admission in 1st standard in ICSE school is 5 years and 8 months as on 1st June of the admission year in first standard.

My daughter dob is in nov 2018. As per new guidelines of govt. Is she eligible for nursery or jr kg in 2022-23?

The minimum age limit of ICSE for standard is 5years and 8 months and its as on 1st june and if for LKG then its 4+ years and UKG is 5+ years

The age for applying in nursery should be more than 3 years and less then four years that means your daughter will be 3+years in2022-23 and that means she can apply for the same

For class 1 admission, the minimum age criterion is the completion of six years as of December 31, 2022.

The children should have been born between October 1, 2015, and December 31, 2016.

The circular also states that the age limit can be flexible for pre-primary admission.
